Shift Happens With Nick and Jill

Hi! We are Nick and Jill. We said "I Do" in 2000 (makes it easier for Nick to remember how long ;-) and have two kids, Kylah (young adult) and Tyler (middle teens). Since 2001, we have been able to serve pastors, leaders, and people through various positions in the church. We have also been involved with state and national ministries for over a decade. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 is our life and leadership verse: "We love you so much that we not only gave you God's Word, but our very lives too." Working with people and ministries should include intentional relational and administrative excellence. We look forward to working hard and having fun partnering with you! Keynote/Support Speaker

Over 300 sermons delivered to both small (as low as 30 people) and large (up to 2000) churches as the lead pastor, staff/support pastor, and speaker by invitation

Our approach to this is slightly different from the typical label of “guest speaker.” While we can bring our “own message,” we work hard to support the pastor by getting to know them and sharing their heart and vision within the message!

Operations Systems and Processes

Assumed a satellite campus, transitioning all elements to an independent church
- Renamed and rebranded the entire church
- Grew it from 11 members to 90 in three years
- Recruited and trained volunteers for multiple areas
- Established and provided oversight for community engagement and outreach for our church and community members
Established policy, procedures, and teams for a longstanding church with under 200 members, including security, hospitality, and more
Provided compliance assurance for churches and their insurance holder
Proofread and updated Employee Manuals for churches of under 200 and 1100 members

Team Development and Discipleship

Provided formation, direction, and reworking of church worship teams to fulfill purpose within the volunteer band member’s capacity
Provided oversight for church-wide campaigns, including a nine-week course on Emotionally Healthy Spirituality for 400 people in 10 different classes
Developed, wrote, designed, and implemented a four-week discipleship onboarding class for new converts and attendees (church attendance of 1100), including facilitator teaching scripts, a participant book, and streamlined branding throughout the church
Content writing from scratch or based on the pastor’s sermon and facilitator oversight for church-wide small groups
